Tuesday the 7th:

*The free Tuesday Night Tasting at Bierkraft in Park Slope is a special one this week, showcasing the 11th Anniversary Ale that the Bierkraft brewed at Barrier in Oceanside. They’ll be pouring this smoked Berliner Weisse-style beer along with four others promptly at 7 pm – there is limited space, so get there early to ensure your seat.

*The $20 Tuesday Night Tasting at Jimmy’s No 43 in the East Village features Hitachino and begins at 7:30 pm. The line-up:

*One Mile House on the Lower East Side has a Mega Barrel event today. Most beers up by 3 with some specialty kegs tapping at 8:

**The popular Pacific Northwest Beer and Oyster Fest returns to the Blind Tiger in the Village today at noon. This two-day event features a variety of drafts from Oregon, Washington & Alaska as well as Yaquina Bay oysters that are being flown in on the red-eye Monday night. Oysters served daily until they run out – get to the Tiger early to guarantee a plate. The draft list:

Thursday the 9th:

*Barcade in Williamsburg has a Brooklyn Brewery event starting at 4 pm today. The list (complete with Barcade’s excellent descriptions):

      • Black Chocolate Stout 2011 – 10.6% ABV – Sweet, smooth, potent and aged for two years
      • Blast! – 8.0% – Double IPA lights up your palate with a hop explosion!
      • Brown – 5.5% – Sweet malt and roasted, toasted nuts
      • Fiat Lux – 6.1% – Belgian style Witbier brewed with lime peel and coriander
      • Hot – 6.2% – Pale Ale is the 6th release from the Worshipful Company of Brewers
      • East India Pale Ale – 6.8% – English style IPA with a firm malt backbone and a spicy, citrus-y finish
      • Mary’s Maple Porter – 7.2% – Brewed with maple syrup sourced from upstate New York
      • Monster 2010 – 11.8% – Vintage Barleywine named for the beloved brew house cat and aged for three years
      • Pennant Pale Ale – 5.2% – English style Pale Ale named in honor of the 1955 World Series champion Brooklyn Dodgers
      • Pilsner – 5.0% – A mouth-watering union of light malt and crisp hops
      • Silver Anniversary Lager – 9.0% – German style Doppelbock version of the classic Brooklyn Lager to commemorate the brewery’s 25th anniversary
      • Sorachi Ace – 7.5% – Belgian style Saison brewed with only Sorachi Ace hops, it’s sunshine in a glass
      • Summer – 4.5% – British style Pale Ale beckons the warmer months forth
      • The Companion – 10.0% – Wheat Wine conceived alongside the Oxford Companion to Beer
      • There Will Be Black – 7.5% – I drink your Black India Pale Ale. I drink it up!

*Alphabet City Beer Company in the East Village has a Blue Mountain Brewery event from 6 to 9 pm tonight.

*The Kent Ale House in Williamsburg hosts a Brooklyn Brewery Tap Attack tonight beginning at 6 pm. The line-up:

*Jimmy’s No 43 in the East Village hosts a Cider Salon Fundraiser with Breezy Hill Orchard tonight from 6-9 pm. Breezy Hill is in the midst of a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to rebuild their historic Cider House. Your $15 (cash requested) entrance fee will go towards the rebuild and get you admission to the back room of Jimmy’s for a barrel tasting of spring release hard ciders and a discussion on the cider making process. There will be additional cider on tap for purchase, with T-shirts, note cards and brew kits for sale.

*The Ploughman in South Park Slope has a Rowan Imports Cider tasting today from 5 to 8 pm. Free samples and growlers for sale.

Saturday the 11th:

**Alewife NYC in Long Island City hosts the 2nd Annual Get Real Presents “Beer Balls” Meatball and Craft Beer Festival today. There are two sessions, from noon to 3 pm and 4 to 7 pm. The $40 ticket gets you unlimited beer tastings from 30 different breweries and 10 tastes of meatballs prepared by some of the best NYC Chefs. Please visit the site for a list of participating restaurants and breweries and to purchase your tickets.

**Brazen Head in Boerum Hill has their annual Spring Clam Shuck today from 5 to 10 pm. They’ll have Little Neck Clams at $5.00 for 1/2 Dozen, Blue Point Oysters for $1 each and self-serve “Chowdas” for $5. They’ll be pouring Long Island beers from Blue Point, Southampton & Greenport Harbor.

*Malt & Mold on the LES has a free Lagunitas tasting from 3 to 6 pm today.

Sunday the 12th:

***Alewife NYC in Long Island City hosts an Allagash event today with a special pairing brunch at 3 pm. Come out for drinks by the glass or the 5-course Brunch. The menu (pairings TBA):
