Monday the 26th:

The Union Square Heartland Brewery is introducing their newest beer, a Cherry Blossom IPA, by giving away one free mug to anyone who pops in between 7 and 9 pm tonight.

Tuesday the 27th:

In Park Slope, Bierkraft‘s free Tuesday Night Tasting features Peak Organic beers tonight with brewery co-founder Mike Cadoux beginning promptly at 7 pm.

Good Beer in the East Village has four Kelso beers on tonight beginning at 6 pm:

Radegast in Williamsburg has a Mikkeller Single Hops Project tasting beginning at 7:30 pm.  You’ve got two options – pay by the drink or get a quarter liter of all four for $25.  The Koran Aga Presents Avalon Jazz Band will be playing live – enter through the Bier Haus entrance on Berry.

The East Coast vs West Coast Heavy Metal Brew Tour makes its next stop in Astoria, Queens from 9 to midnight at Sunswick 35/35.  No list yet, but except some tasty drafts from Victory, Smuttynose, Ballast Point and Lagunitas.

The theme for tonight’s $10 tasting at Jimmy’s No 43 in the East Village is Rye & Oats.  No list yet, but I’ll post it once I get it.  The tasting starts at 7:30 and includes six different beers.

*dbgb in NoHo has a French Country Dinner tonight at 7 pm.  Go Whole Hog! is served family style – the menu:

The annual Vermont Beer & Cheese Festival returns to The Blind Tiger in the Village today.  There will be some tasty cheese served and this amazing tap list goes on at 3 pm (get there early as there is no doubt that some of this stuff will go fast):

Tonight’s $10 Tasting at Idle Hands in the East Village features Crispin Ciders and Buffalo Trace.  Drop $10 at the bar between 7 & 10 pm and receive full pours of Fox Barrel Pear & Brownslane, samples of Lansdowne, Crispin Original One & another TBA, a taste of Buffalo Trace and an order of Tater Tots from That Burger with specially made dipping sauce made with a Crispin Cider.  (I debated whether or not to include this event as Crispin was recently bought by Tenth & Blake, which is the craft & import division of MillerCoors.  However, I decided yes as: 1-we don’t see many cider events in NYC, 2-cider is still an underdog in the alcoholic beverage world & I think it’s an amazing drink with a fascinating history and the more exposure any cider gets will help feed the truly beautiful craft ciders of this world, 3-Idle Hands is a solid bar and these Wednesday tastings are a heck of a deal.)

*There is a Founders event tonight at Puck Fair in Soho.  I’m getting more info and will hopefully post a list in the next day or so. No list but there will be anywhere from 3-6 taps and possible more.

*City Swiggers on the UES is hosting a Smuttynose night from 5:30 to 9:30.  The list (bottles or draft):

Bierkraft’s Thursday Night Draft event features Breckenridge Brewery beers – 7 pm in Park Slope.  No list, but there will be year round beers, some seasonal specialties and a rare keg of the 471 IPA aged in a Stranahan whiskey barrel.

The East Coast vs West Coast Heavy Metal Brew Tour stops in at Idle Hands in the EV tonight from 7 to midnight.  All craft drafts are $5 until 10 pm.  The list:

One Stop Beer Shop in Greenpoint is offering free samples of their new Spring brunch menu today from noon to 1 pm.

Beer for Beasts is today, but is sold out.  Get your tickets early for next year if you missed out, have a wonderful time if you’re going.
